Anypoint Media Participates in 2024 APAC TV Summit



Anypoint Media showcased its addressable TV advertising solution, FLOWER, at the 2024 APAC TV Summit held from October 15 to 16 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QNSCC) in Bangkok, Thailand.

This event, hosted by Google, focused on the future of TV advertising and digital media, with participation from 366 companies, including Netflix, Amazon, and Amagi. Over a thousand media and advertising industry professionals attended, and Anypoint Media drew significant attention with its cutting-edge technology.

At Anypoint Media's booth, visitors could experience multicast advertising in an IPTV real-time broadcast environment. Two set-top boxes were connected to two different TVs, and a 1-minute ad was inserted every two minutes, demonstrating the ability to deliver personalized ads even during live TV broadcasts.

Unlike most existing advertising technologies that insert ads server-side, Anypoint Media’s technology inserts ads client-side in real time. This approach significantly reduces server maintenance costs while enabling the immediate collection of ad impressions and viewer behavior data, resulting in enhanced accuracy.

Additionally, Anypoint Media showcased its clickthrough technology, where pressing the "Learn More" button on the remote control sends a push notification to a mobile device connected to the set-top box. Unlike the conventional method requiring users to scan a QR code, this technology allows for easy interaction with ads using just the remote, garnering positive reactions from attendees.

Through its participation in the 2024 APAC TV Summit, Anypoint Media reaffirmed its competitiveness in the global media market. The company plans to continue participating in global events, breaking the boundaries between TV and digital advertising and leading the market with innovative technology.
